This beautiful white lacquered museum pedestal is manufactured from high quality maple veneer core plywood with a solid maple raised shelf designed to accommodate acrylic museum covers (sold separately). These materials provide maximum durability and lasting beauty. The beautiful natural maple color is enhanced in a 3-step waterborne finishing process that creates a depth and richness that cannot be matched by some simple spray on process. Extremely strong, these gallery pedestals can display heavy items in a graceful manner. Each art museum pedestal is unique in color and character due to the natural variation in the real wood and wood veneer.
